G. Lawrence (Larry) Carr

Larry Carr is the Group Leader for Low Energy Spectroscopy and a Condensed Matter Physicist specializing in the infrared spectroscopy. His background includes academia (faculty at Emory University) and industry (Grumman and Northrop Grumman Corporate Research Ctr.). Presently he is developing the MET and FIS infrared beamlines at NSLS-II. His current research interests include non-equilibrium dynamics in superconductors and semiconductors studied by time-resolved spectroscopy & magnetospectroscopy, plus the development and application of intense coherent THz pulse sources.
